Golf Course Putting Green Damaged by ‘Unknown Liquid’
Police say an area golf course has an expensive repair bill to deal with after one of its putting greens was intentionally damaged by a person or persons who committed criminal mischief.
State police at Dublin said over the weekend that the 12th green at Fox Hollow Golf Club on Trumbauersville Road in Milford Township was damaged when unknown actors “placed an unknown substance or liquid on the putting green, damaging the grass and contaminating the soil.”
Police said the incident occurred during the week of May 19.
The estimated cost to repair the damge is between $10,000 and $50,000, police said.
