Man, 21, Dead After Motorcycle Crash in Springfield Twp.

Authorities say a 21-year-old man from upper Bucks County died following a motorcycle crash on Rt. 309 in Springfield Township Sunday night.

In a news release Monday, Lehigh County Coroner Dan Buglio said Caleb J. Sine of Richlandtown borough was operating a motorcycle that collided with another motor vehicle around 11 p.m.

Sine was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, Buglio said.

According to the release, he was taken to the Emergency Department at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, where he was pronounced dead at 11:50 p.m.

The coroner said his cause of death was determined to be multiple blunt force trauma, and that the manner of death was accidental.

In addition to the coroner’s office, Pennsylvania State Police at Dublin are investigating the accident.
