The Lehigh County Coroner’s office has identified the 21-year-old man who died after a car in which he was a front seat passenger struck a utility pole on Flint Hill Road in Upper Saucon Township Monday.

Coroner Dan Buglio identified the man as Andy I. Uruchima Lema of Allentown in a news release Friday.

Uruchima Lema was pronounced dead at 10:56 p.m. Tuesday at St. Luke’s University Hospital-Bethlehem in Fountain Hill.

Buglio said his office completed an autopsy Friday, but that Uruchima Lema’s cause and manner of death are still undetermined pending further investigation.

Two other people who were in the vehicle at the time of the crash were later taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest for treatment of injuries, according to Upper Saucon Township Police, who said their initial investigation determined that the vehicle’s tires were “significantly worn.”

The crash happened around 9:15 p.m. near the intersection of Flint Hill Road and Forest Drive. It remains under investigation by the Upper Saucon Township Police Department, the Lehigh County District Attorney’s office and the coroner’s office.
