Ray D. Lindaberry (1944 – 2026)

Ray “Pappy” D. Lindaberry, 82, of Upper Saucon Township, Lehigh County, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospital-Upper Bucks Campus in Quakertown. He was the loving husband of Mary L. (Smith) Lindaberry, with whom he shared 63 wonderful years of marriage, having wed on April 20, 1963. Born in Coopersburg on June 1, 1944, Ray was the son of the late David and Evelyn (Erney) Lindaberry. A hardworking man, Ray dedicated his career to the road and the garage, working as a mechanic for Mack Truck and Fleet Sales and Leasing, and a truck driver for the Batesville Casket Company, and for various other local companies. Outside of work, Ray was a man of many passions. He had a deep love for race cars, hunting and bowling, and always enjoyed the camaraderie and friendships he made at the Upper Saucon Social Quarters.
SURVIVORS
In addition to his beloved wife, Mary, he is survived by children: Bonnie A. Skriletz and her husband, Bill, of Center Valley, and Kenneth R. Lindaberry and his wife, Wendy, of Coopersburg; sisters: Dorothy (Dennis) Kemp of Coopersburg, Gladys Hockman of Coopersburg, Carol Shade of Old Zionsville, and Anna Stoneback of Red Hill; grandchildren: Craig, Billy, Ryan, Jason, Stephen, Luke and Jessica; and eight cherished great-grandchildren. Ray was predeceased by his brothers: John and Richard Lindaberry.
SERVICES
Family and friends are invited to call from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., located at 326 Main St., Hellertown. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m.Ā Immediately following the service a funeral repast will be held at The Carriage House at Heintzelmans.
