Football Players, Cheerleaders, Band, Panther Greet Little Ones at SVES on Homecoming Friday

There was lots of cheering, clapping and high fives at the elementary school bus loop Friday morning, where Saucon football players, cheerleaders, band members, Homecoming Court members and–of course–the Saucon Valley Panther gathered to greet arriving elementary students on red-and-black day, the final day of Homecoming Week.

As part of an ongoing Homecoming week tradition, Saucon Valley High School football players, cheerleaders, band members, members of the Homecoming Court and the Panther were on hand at the main entrance to Saucon Valley Elementary School to cheer for and greet students as they arrived for class Friday morning.

The annual event encourages school pride at the elementary level and makes the youngest Saucon Valley students feel a part of the Homecoming Week festivities that will culminate with Friday night’s football game vs. the Wilson Warriors at 7 p.m. in the school district stadium.
