Jan S. Ochman, 69, of Bethlehem Township (Obituary Brought to You by Heintzelman Funeral Home)

Jan S. Ochman, 69, of Bethlehem Township died Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016 at ManorCare Health Services, Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Diane K. Ochman who died in September. Jan was born in Katowice, Poland on Jan. 20, 1947 to Hildegard (Gryger) Crisp of Port Washington, N.Y. and the late Aloysius Ochman. He worked as a supervisor in the machine shop at the former Fuller Co., Allentown. Jan spoke fluent Polish. He was an excellent cook, and an avid soccer fan and player.

SURVIVORS

In addition to his mother; children: Stephanie E. Smith of Allentown, Chris J. Ochman of Bethlehem Township and Jennifer H. (Brant) Schroeder of Phoenixville; siblings: Fred (Ania) Ochman of Port Washington, N.Y.; grandchildren: Ashton, Abbey, Henry and Lillian. Jan was predeceased by a sister, Ina Fojcik.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to a calling hour from 2 to 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11, 2016. It will be followed by a joint memorial service to honor both Jan’s and Diane’s lives at 3 p.m. at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown, Pa.
