In a news release issued Monday, police said the accident reportedly occurred when the driver of a “rust-colored station wagon” (unknown make, model or registration) forced the driver of another vehicle towards the side of the road, in the area where two lanes on Rt. 378 South merge to become one.

The Fountain Hill woman who was being forced over “could not move her vehicle over any farther” and the station wagon made contact with her Chevy, causing “scuffing and paint transfer,” police said.

Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call the Lower Saucon Township Police Department at 610-317-6110.
