A sandwich shop that was located in the Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley in Upper Saucon Township for the better part of a decade has closed.

Pandini’s offered soups, sandwiches, salads and more. It had a website but it is no longer live, and the only Facebook page for the eatery is automatically generated.

The closure comes on the heels of another Promenade sandwich shop’s demise.

The Pita Pit closed earlier this year.

The Morning Call reported that Pandini’s will keep open its eatery open to the general public on the second floor of Lehigh’s University Center in Bethlehem.

The newspaper quoted the Promenade Shops’ marketing coordinator Jennifer Mitchell as saying that the lifestyle center should “hopefully” soon have some new dining options, in addition to the restaurants that remain open there, including Kome, Melt, Top Cut, Torre, Red Robin, White Orchids, Bar Louie, Crepe Soleil, Center Valley Creamery, Starbucks, Cosi and Healthy You Cafe at Capital Blue.

Two other casual eateries–Subway and The Green Pepper–also recently closed at the Promenade Shops, which is located at 2845 Center Valley Parkway, Center Valley.
