An event meant to help foster positive relations between borough police and residents was held at Christ Lutheran Church in Hellertown Monday and–judging from the turnout–was a success.

Coffee With Cops was an opportunity for families and individuals to talk to borough police officer and ask questions in an informal, breakfast setting.

Kids–including students from the church’s Children’s Learning Center–were also able to climb in and out of some of the department’s vehicles.

The Hellertown Police Department is interested in participating in similar events in the future if any borough businesses or organizations are interested in hosting them. For more information, call 610-838-7040.
