Razor Blades Shoplifted from Supermarket, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police are investigating a retail theft that reportedly occurred Monday morning at the Giant supermarket at 1880 Leithsville Road.

In a news release issued Tuesday, police said officers were called to the store at 11:04 a.m. and told by store management that a man had shoplifted razor blades.

The man is described as a 25 to 35-year-old Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, with short black hair and a thin goatee. At the time he was said to be wearing a gray jacket over a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and dark-colored sneakers.

Police said that after taking the razor blades, the man walked out of the store without paying and got into a black, four-door sedan that may have been a newer model Kia or Nissan with New Jersey or New York license plates.
