Saucon Valley Senior Band Member Salute: Justin Edinger
Justin Edinger is a senior member of the Saucon Valley High School marching band who plays drums and piano. He is the subject of this week’s Senior Band Member Salute.
Not all the stars at Panther football games are on the field. The Saucon Valley High School marching band plays a big role in generating school and community spirit at football games and events throughout the year. In gratitude for their performances and recognition of their talent, Saucon Source is proud to recognize this yearās SVHS senior band members with our āSenior Band Member Salute.ā We thank band director Michael Marini for his assistance with compiling these profiles.

Q: What instrument(s) do you play and how long have you been playing them in/outside of band?
Drums and piano. Iāve been playing drums since 4th grade and started learning piano around three years ago.
Q: How did you first become interested in music? What keeps you playing?
I first became interested in music when my friendās dad let me try his drumset. Itās really fun so thatās why I continue to play.
Q: Whatās your favorite thing about being a member of the marching band?
My favorites thing about being in marching band would probably be getting to make so many new friends and being able to have fun with everyone.
Q: Whatās the best number to get the crowd going at a Saucon Valley football game?
The best number to get people excited would probably be āHot Boyzā or āWipeout.ā
Q: Who has helped you become a better musician?
The drum instructor, Chip. He really helped me learn how to read music and always believed in me that I could be good.
Q: What are your future plans, and do they involve music?
My future plans are to go to culinary school and work in a restaurant.
