Elsie Catherine Staffieri, 84, of Hellertown, died Monday, June 29, 2015 at Saucon Valley Manor, Hellertown. She was the wife of Edward Michael Staffieri Jr. Elsie was born in Bethlehem on July 3, 1930 to the late Stefan and Mary (Tutko) Slahta. She was a member of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Hellertown and St. Theresa’s Guild, and she sang in the church’s choir.

SURVIVORS

In addition to her loving husband of 66 years; children: Michael E. of Hellertown, Cindy J. (Frank) Workman, Michele E. (James) Bennett, Anne Marie (George) Krumm, all of Bethlehem, Nancy K. (Kurt) Bohnhorst of Hellertown; siblings: Mary Steager of Fountain Hill, Stephen of Catasauqua, Michael of Hellertown; three grandchildren: Katrina and Kayla Bohnhorst, Alexander Krumm. She was predeceased by several siblings.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, July 3, 2015 at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Roman Catholic Church, 1408 Easton Road, Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
