Dale L. Fern (1941 – 2025)
Dale L. Fern, 83, of Tatamy, died Friday, Feb. 7, 2025 at his home. He was the husband of the late Antoinette C. “Toni” Fern, who died Feb. 20, 2012. Dale was born in Easton on March 25, 1941 to the late Lester and Sarah (Stem) Fern. He retired after 40 years as a supervisor at Hoffman-LaRoche, Belvidere, N.J. He was also a member of the RVI Ski Club at work. One of Dale’s greatest passions was working alongside his wife with their business, TnD Ceramics, Tatamy, teaching and making ceramics for over 20 years. Dale was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church, Easton, where he served on its choirs, along with other parishes. He had also volunteered at St. Anthony’s Parish. Dale certainly enjoyed singing with the Barbershop Quartet. He was a former mayor of the Borough of Tatamy and also volunteered with the Tatamy Fire Company. Dale was an avid New York Giants fan.

SURVIVORS
Family meant everything to Dale, and was not limited to his loving children: Ronnita M., Darryl A., both of Tatamy, Clinton L. (Julia) of Myerstown; grandchildren: Carrie (Luke) Gregory, Morgan Fern and Bethanie (Andrew) White, Kelly Trutschel and Jason Vlossak; great-grandchildren: Landon Gregory, Brenden, Natalie and Emilie Trutschel and Jason N. Vlossak, Carmella White; and his companion: Donna Bridgers. He was predeceased by sisters: Joy Verba and Sharon Keller.
SERVICES
Family and friends are invited to a visitation period from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, 2025 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 1 at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church, 132 S. 5th St., Easton, PA.
