Renee N. Verzino (1944 – 2025)

Renee N. Verzino, 80, of Springfield Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City, N.J. She was the beloved wife of the late Ermenegildo A. Verzino, who preceded her in death on March 28, 2025. Born in Bethlehem on Dec. 14, 1944, Renee was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Beatrice Seisholtz. Renee was a devoted member of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Roman Catholic Church in Hellertown. A loving and faithful wife, Renee built her life around her husband and found great joy in the company of her family. She was known for her passion for cooking, her love of traveling, reading mysteries and her special care for the barn cats.

SURVIVORS

She is lovingly survived by her children: Maria A. Verzino (Tim Mease) of Springtown, Andrea N. Verzino of Phoenix, Ariz., James “Jimmy” K. Verzino (Marnette) of Los Angeles, Calif.; cherished grandchildren: Eleni, Lucia, Gabriela, Jovan, Kolby, Hudson and London; adored great-grandchildren: Luca and Romia.

SERVICES

Family and friends are invited to call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Church, 1408 Easton Road, Hellertown. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery. A funeral repast will be held at the Carriage House at Heintzelmans immediately following the graveside service.
