Man Found Dead Near School Complex

Update: Lehigh County Coroner Dan Buglio has identified the deceased man found Friday in Salisbury Township as David G. Kittredge, 37, of Salisbury Township. Buglio said in a statement that following an autopsy, Kittredge’s cause and manner of death are pending further investigation and the results of toxicology testing.

An investigation is under way after a man was found dead in a grassy area near a local school.

Gaskill
A man was found dead in the 1400 block of Gaskill Avenue in Salisbury Township Friday morning. The Lehigh County Coroner’s office–which conducted an autopsy–township police, the district attorney’s office and other law enforcement agencies are involved in the investigation.

Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio said the 37-year-old man was pronounced dead in the 1400 block of Gaskill Avenue, Salisbury Township, at 7:24 a.m. Friday. The area is adjacent to the Salisbury Township School District office building, a school bus depot and Salisbury Township Elementary School.

Buglio did not identify the man in his news release and said no additional information would be released until an autopsy scheduled for Friday was completed, and if “the investigation warrants it.”

In addition to his office, Buglio said the Salisbury Township Police Department, Lehigh County District Attorney’s office, Lehigh County Homicide Task Force and Pennsylvania State Police Forensic Services Unit are involved in the investigation.
