Monday night’s Fountain Hill Borough council meeting began with the swearing-in of two new council members. Will Rufe and Jamie Johnson were elected to council back in November, and began serving their respective two- and four-year terms this week.
Fountain Hill Borough Council voted to adopt a 2020 borough budget which includes a modest property tax increase at their Dec. 18 meeting, which was council's last for the year.
The Hellertown Post Office’s First Letter Program teaches Saucon Valley Elementary students the skills needed to write and mail a letter. Begun by postmaster Joe DiRusso in 2017, the program was expanded in 2019 with help from local teens Noah and Micayla Kates.
