Panthers Fall to Easton in First District XI Playoff Appearance

For the first time in school history Saucon Valley was able to qualify for Districts. The Panthers entered the 2016 tournament as the #6 seed and had to face an experienced and deep Easton squad who were awarded the #3 seed. The Red Rovers were the East Penn Conference championship runner-ups. Unfortunately, the Panthers came up short.

Homeowners in the Saucon Valley School District could be paying higher taxes next school year, after the school board voted 6-3 Tuesday night to tentatively approve a 1.24 mill tax increase to help close a $2 million gap in the district's proposed 2016-2017 budget.
