Lehigh Valley restaurant owners spent the end of last week scrambling to make accommodations for new dining restrictions, which were announced by Gov. Tom Wolf last Thursday. The short-notice and creative modifications are things local restaurateurs have grown accustomed to throughout the course of the COVID pandemic.
The Apollo Grill was joined by the Community Action Committee of the Lehigh Valley, and a host of sponsors and students on Tuesday afternoon as they celebrated a contribution of $50,000 towards a new scholarship dedicated to helping underserved students.
Local business and restaurant owners say they are frustrated with Gov. Tom Wolf’s decision to veto House Bill 2513, a measure which would have loosened coronavirus-related restrictions on restaurants in Pennsylvania.
