Celebrate spring at Northampton Community College (NCC), which will host the Lehigh Valley’s first food conference on Sunday, May 19 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the college, 3835 Green Pond Road, Bethlehem. A pop-up farmers’ market will also be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The opening of the 2019 Saucon Valley Farmers’ Market in Hellertown is fast approaching, and this year nearly local 40 vendors are confirmed participants. The market opens for its 14th season on Sunday, May 5.

Coupons worth a total of $20 are available to Northampton County residents age 60 and over who meet income eligibility criteria thanks to the continuation of the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The coupons are distributed by the Northampton County Area Agency on Aging.
Located next to Borough Hall at the intersection of State and Main streets, the market will offer a wide variety of farm-fresh goods on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Thanksgiving.
What’s all the buzz about at the Saucon Valley Farmers’ Market in Hellertown? This Sunday, Oct. 11, it will be the market’s annual Honey Fest, featuring tasty dishes prepared with honey, a presentation about bees by Victor Rush of Rush Apiaries (a market vendor for 10 years) and music by Tom Vicario. The featured business of the week will be Saucon Source. Online local news publisher Josh Popichak will have a booth at which he’ll talk about the media outlet’s upcoming one-year anniversary and chat with readers.
