Although it’s already been attracting curious young visitors for more than a week, the new playground at Hellertown’s Dimmick Park wasn’t officially “open” until a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held with borough officials and the Hellertown-Lower Saucon Chamber of Commerce Sunday afternoon.
Two community events scheduled to be held in early August will bring the Hellertown and Lower Saucon Township police departments as well as other local first responders together with the residents they serve and protect.
