Saturday's warm, sunny weather was nearly perfect for the seasonal opening of the Hellertown Pool. The 80-year-old swimming pool on Durham Street in the borough opened its gates at noon, and devotees of fun in the sun soon entered and began to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere.
