Unofficial results from Tuesday's general election indicate that Democrat Amy Zanelli has won the district magistrate's seat for West Bethlehem and Fountain Hill in Lehigh County. Zanelli ran against Republican Van Scott for the seat, which was vacant.
A race for magisterial district judge in Lehigh County will be decided in November's general election, after one candidate won the Democratic primary and the other won Tuesday's Republican primary.

Dan McNeill, as the representative for the 133rd legislative district--has announced that she will begin holding regular office hours at Fountain Hill Borough Hall and have extended hours at her Whitehall district office.
