Since Saucon Valley is playing for the District XI AAA football championship at a stadium that’s nearly an hour away from Hellertown, many local residents are wondering whether the game will be televised.

The good news is that the answer to the question: “Can I watch the game on TV?” is YES!

Both local cable television providers–RCN and Service Electric–will televise the game.

Steel Street Tours hopes to run a tour bus from Hellertown to the District 11 AAA championship football game in Lehighton Saturday.

Service Electric will broadcast it live from Lehighton on Channel 2 Sports starting at 7 p.m. Saturday.

RCN will broadcast the game at 9:30 p.m. on Channel 4.

For residents who want to travel to Lehighton but don’t want to drive, a local tour bus operator–Steel Street Tours–is offering seats for up to 14 people on a bus it hopes to run round-trip. At least 12 people need to register for the bus trip, which will cost $10 per person.

Saucon Valley students can travel to the game on school buses for just $5 (including admission).

Advance tickets can be purchased from the Saucon Valley Athletic Office Thursday and Friday for $6 per adult or $3 for students/seniors. Tickets sold at the stadium in Lehighton Saturday will be priced at $6.
