Today in the Saucon Valley High School library, Panther athletic director Bob Frey announced that senior Jason Jones was signing a letter of intent to continue his academic and wrestling career at Keystone College.

Jones has, so far, accumulated a 121-42 PIAA career record through his three years as a Panther grappler. For the upcoming 2017-18 wrestling season, Jones said he hopes to once again place at the Beast of the East, win the Bethlehem Holiday Classic and become a PIAA state place winner. Next year, as a Keystone freshman, Jason said he will major in Special Education.

Asked what makes Jones such a quality wrestler, Coach Chad Shirk offered, “Jason is a student of the sport. He loves wrestling and is constantly trying to improve. He works year round competing against some of the best wrestlers in the country.”

Congratulations, Jason, and best of luck in your future!
