5 Saucon Wrestlers Qualify for States

Five Saucon Valley wrestlers made it out of regionals Saturday and qualified for the individual PIAA state tournament at Hershey next weekend.

Jack Hill (113) and Jason Lynch (170) each placed third, while Paul Miller (106) and Nate Harka (152) each finished fifth to qualify for states. Joining his Panther teammates will be freshman Jason Jones, who finished fourth.

The state tournament will begin on Thursday, March 5, with the finals taking place Saturday afternoon. The top eight wrestlers in each weight class will place.
