Lower Saucon Township Police say a Fountain Hill man will be cited for reckless driving following an accident in which he was allegedly involved.

In a news release issued Thursday, police said Aristotle Tarboro, of the 1000 block of Cherokee Street, was northbound on Springtown Hill Road on March 9 at 11:34 a.m. when he allegedly began following another driver at an “unreasonably close” distance.

When Tarboro attempted to pass the other driver, police said the crash occurred.

After the accident, police said Tarboro was taken to St. Luke’s University Hospital in Fountain Hill and his vehicle was towed from the scene.

The Lower Saucon Township Police Department also took possession of a dog that was in Tarboro’s car at the time of the accident, according to the news release.

Police indicated that in addition to reckless driving, Tarboro would be cited for driving without a license, following too closely and limitations on passing.
