Hickory Hill Traffic Stop Brings in Man Wanted on Warrant, Police Say

Est. Read Time: < 1 min

Lower Saucon Township Police say a traffic stop on Hickory Hill Road Saturday led to them to locate a man who allegedly absconded from custody while on work release–and a charge of providing false ID to law enforcement.

According to a news release issued Monday, Dennis Carl, of the 600 block of Walnut Street, Emmaus, provided false identification to officers following an 8:21 p.m. stop for an alleged traffic violation.

Police said Carl was determined to have a suspended driver’s license “as well as a warrant out of Lehigh County for walking out on work release from the prison.”

Carl was committed to Lehigh County Prison, police added.
