A Steel City, Lower Saucon Township man was charged with DUI after township police say he was found to be intoxicated with his car stopped in the middle of Riverside Drive because he’d run out of gas.

In a news release issued Thursday, police said officers were called to the scene at 10:45 a.m. April 29 to investigate a “suspicious male.”

There they found Jedadiah Oloughlin, of the 4300 block of Lewis Avenue, who allegedly had a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of .26 percent according to the news release.

The legal limit for most drivers in Pennsylvania is .08 BAC.
