According to police, the accident occurred Sunday at 12:42 p.m., when Shawn Fedorowicz, of the 1700 block of Brad Lane, Lower Saucon Township, turned left from Friedensville Road onto Bingen Road and into the path of an oncoming, eastbound vehicle driven by a 69-year-old Fountain Hill man.

“The impact sent Shawn’s car onto its roof,” police said.

Fedorowicz’s passenger–a 17-year-old girl from Zionsville–was taken to St. Luke’s University Hospital for treatment of injuries suffered in the accident, police added.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene by Saucon Collision.

Fedorowicz will be cited for a left turn violation, police said.
