Est. Read Time: < 1 min

A classic British sportscar show that features popular vote judging, awards and door prizes will once again be held in the Saucon Valley.

The 22nd annual British Motorcar Gathering will be held Sunday, June 14, 2015 (rain or shine) amid the towering trees of Alfred J. Fritchman Reservoir Park in Lower Saucon Township.

The premier attraction of the event will be more than 200 vintage sportscars–including MGs, Jaguars, Triumphs and Minis from every Mid-Atlantic state–on display throughout the park, which is located at 3400 Reservoir Road, Hellertown.

“Classic British sports cars and sedans dating from the 1930s to present day will be displayed in a wooded setting, with separate areas for each make of car,” the website for the show states.

All makes of British cars and motorcycles, old and new, are welcome.

The show’s classes will be determined by the number of cars of each marque and model which are pre-registered by May 31, according to the site. At least three cars of a type must be pre-registered in order to be considered for a separate class.

Online registration is available.

The field will open at 9 a.m., with judging from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Catered food and drinks will be sold at the park’s large picnic pavilion, but attendees can also pack a picnic. There will also be kids events and music all day.
