17 Citations Issued in Latest Rt. 378 Aggressive Driving Crackdown

Lower Saucon Township Police announced in a news release Friday that during an aggressive driving enforcement campaign along Rt. 378 Wednesday, a total of 17 citations were issued to motorists for a variety of alleged infractions.

According to the news release, 12 motorists were cited for speeding, two were cited for driving with an expired inspection, one was cited for driving under suspension, one was cited for permitting an unlicensed driver to operate a vehicle, and one was cited for a seatbelt violation.

Police said the initiative was conducted between the hours of 6 and 11 a.m.

It was one in a series of aggressive driving crackdowns conducted by the township police department along Rt. 378 in recent months.
