A Bethlehem man has been charged with burglary, theft and criminal trespassing, after police say he attempted to steal several coins from a home on Bachman Street in Hellertown Friday.
In a news release issued Monday, borough police said Tommy Desso Allen, 51, of the 400 block of Wyandotte Street, entered the home at 7:55 a.m. Aug. 14.
Allen was arraigned before District Judge David Tidd and committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $30,000 bail, police said.
