SV Marching Band Steps Off for 2015-2016
With his 1st Place finsih, Saucon Valley 8th grader Ryan Crookham led the Panther junior high wrestlers to a great team victory.
Say “hello” to the 46 members of the 2015-2016 Saucon Valley Marching Band!
Even though the marching band does not fall under PIAA jurisdiction, they are held to the same standards of any other varsity sport at Saucon Valley. The student participants must meet physical and academic eligibility standards the same way all PIAA varsity sports do.
The Saucon Valley Marching Band competes on the U.S. Bands circuit for their competitions, and the band will be traveling to Disneyworld in Orlando, Fla., for a competition in November.
And, for anybody out there who thinks marching band is not tough…go ahead, let us see you try it! I’ll be sure to bring my camera.
