A Hellertown Lion is being recognized by the chapter for his service of more than 50 years to the Lions.

William “Bill” Diehl, who is now in his 90s, has been a member of the Hellertown Lions Club since 1964 according to a news release from Lion David Heintzelman.

“William…attended our last two meetings,” Heintzelman said Saturday. “We thank Lion Carl Laub for bringing him to these meetings.”

“In his nineties, Lion Bill is a proud Hellertown Lion wearing his many pins he has collected over the years,” he added. “We look forward to his continued support for years to come. God bless you Lion Bill!”
