A Hellertown man is accused of stealing more than $15,000 in auto parts from his Richland Township, Bucks County employer over a 12-day period in February, according to an article published by the Express-Times Wednesday.

According to the story, Michael A. Jones, 30, of the first block of Kiernan Avenue, is accused of taking items such as a car transmission before he was fired by Sweeney’s Service Center and selling them at H. Blinderman & Sons in the borough.

Jones is charged with receiving stolen property and was released from jail this week after posting 10 percent of the $10,000 bail set by District Judge Jacqueline M. Taschner on Friday, according to online court records.
