‘Honey’ Will Be Buzzword at SVFM Sunday

Est. Read Time: < 1 min

What’s all the buzz about at the Saucon Valley Farmers’ Market in Hellertown?

This Sunday, Oct. 11, it will be the market’s annual Honey Fest, featuring tasty dishes prepared with honey, a presentation about bees by Victor Rush of Rush Apiaries (a market vendor for 10 years) and music by Tom Vicario.

The featured business of the week will be Saucon Source.

Online local news publisher Josh Popichak will have a booth at which he’ll talk about the media outlet’s upcoming one-year anniversary and chat with readers.

The market is located next to the Hellertown Area Library at 409 Constitution Ave., Hellertown. It is open Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Nov. 22.

Market chairperson Shelley Goldberg also announced recently that vendors have been donating items to the New Jerusalem Food Bank in Lower Saucon Township.

A representative from the food bank recently presented a certificate of appreciation to one such vendor, Wayne Miller of Epic Acre Farm.
