A local Catholic school that prides itself on providing an excellent education to children in grades K-8 will host an information session/open house for parents and students on Wednesday, Oct. 28 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
St. Michael the Archangel School will host the event at its Elementary School Campus, 5040 St. Josephs Road, Coopersburg. The school’s middle school campus is located on Old Bethlehem Pike in Upper Saucon Township.
Information packets and tours will be offered at the open house, which will also be attended by representatives from local Catholic high schools.
Information about other programs/qualifications that help set St. Mike’s apart will be discussed as well, including the school’s recently-adopted 1:1 iPad initiative and:
- Its Pennsylvania-certified faculty, many of whom hold graduate degrees
- Convenient busing, which is available from most surrounding school districts
- Primary and middle school facilities (gyms, cafeterias, computer labs and libraries)
- Religious instruction, including daily prayers, service projects and community outreach
- Advanced math studies that begin in fourth grade and a challenging science curriculum that includes hands-on experimentation
- Reading and language arts curricula that include a balanced literacy program in kindergarten through sixth grade and a literature program in seventh and eighth grades
- Extracurricular activities provided by CYO, including athletics, social and theatrical events
Tours of the schools are always available and are encouraged, according to St. Michael’s Advancement Director, Marianne Gano.
To RSVP to attend the information session or to schedule a tour, please call Gano at 610-867-8422 or email mg***@st******.com.
