Tuesday is going to be one for the books. The Saucon Valley Girls Varsity Soccer team is set to take on Southern Lehigh at home at 4 p.m., and what a game it will be! The Southern Lehigh/Saucon Valley rivalry always adds extra excitement and, no matter the sport, is always a good competition to witness. This game is no exception–but there is more at stake. The winner of this game will clinch first place in the Colonial Division.
Since losing their first game of the season 2-1 in overtime the Panthers–who are coached by Stevie Ochse–have gone on to not only win, but shut out each opponent they have faced. This season they have outscored their opponents 69-1. Their trip to Districts having already been decided a few games ago, this game is for all the bragging rights in town.
