In a news release issued Tuesday, police said Kirstin Unger, 19, of the 3800 block of Kozy Korner Road, Center Valley, was working the 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. shift Oct. 10 at Exxon on the Run, 3655 Rt. 378, when her drawer was found to be short $247.

Police said they conducted an investigation and “while conducting an interview with (Unger), she admitted to paying out a customer for a winning scratch-off lottery ticket (which) she kept…and later cashed…in at a Wawa in Quakertown.”

Police added that “video cameras also showed (Unger) printing off lottery tickets when she had no customers in the store.”
