A reported parking dispute between neighbors on Zimpfer Lane in Hellertown recently resulted in citations for disorderly conduct and harassment being issued to a resident who police say was involved in an altercation there Saturday.

In a news release issued Tuesday, borough police said Alexis Rusu, of the 1500 block of Zimpfer Lane, allegedly yelled obscenities at a neighbor and “chest bumped” him early Saturday morning.

“A male in that area…stated that there is an ongoing parking issue on the street between the neighbors,” police said in the news release.

  • The fact that there is any dispute over parking on a public street is ludicrous. Cursing someone out and chest bumping them for parking on a public street?!? Don’t like it? Do yourself and everyone else a favor and move to an isolated area where you don’t have to deal with anyone exercising their basic right to park on city property.

  • This guy and his neighbors think they own the street. You can easily fit two cars between the driveways yet they all park right smack in the middle so nobody else can park there. There a bunch of childish wannabe bullies who think the street is part of there driveway.
