A teen talent show and book fair at Barnes & Noble at The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley Nov. 21 will benefit the Hellertown Area Library’s Teen Advisory Group (TAG).
A teen talent show to benefit the Hellertown Area Librarys Teen Advisory Group will be held Nov. 21 at The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley.
The book fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 pm. and the talent show will be held from noon to 2 p.m.
Teens (sixth grade and older) who are interested in participating in the talent show should email Miss Andrea at yo***********@he***************.org to sign up.
Other highlights of the Saturday, Nov. 21 event include:
- Story times at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
- “Library Lovers lattes” available in the bookstore’s cafe
- Children’s and adult coloring tables
- Complimentary gift-wrapping for purchases by the Friends of the Hellertown Area Library
Attendees who make a purchase from the bookstore during the hours of the book fair should present a voucher (see below) when paying so the library receives a percentage of the net sale.

The Promenade Shops are located at 2845 Center Valley Parkway, Center Valley.
The Friends of the Hellertown Area Library will also participate in a celebrity bartender fundraiser Monday, Nov. 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Braveheart Highland Pub, 430 Main St., Hellertown. A portion of food sales and tips during that time will be donated to the library.
