Facebook posts by a Saucon Valley man have led to criminal charges in Bristol Township, Bucks County.

John Henninger, of Hellertown, allegedly posted twice on the Facebook page of a Bristol Township jeweler in late October.

In the posts, the 39-year-old allegedly called the proprietor of the Veterans Highway jewelry store a child molester, and another post appeared to show Henninger holding what looked like a handgun, court documents stated.

Henninger was reportedly identified by an acquaintance of the jewelry store owner.

Henninger was arraigned Wednesday by District Judge Joanne Kline in Bristol on charges of terroristic threats and harassment. He was sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of 10 percent of $50,000 bail.

His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 3 in Kline’s court.

Note: All individuals arrested or charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty. The story was compiled using information from police and public court documents.
