Delmar J. Knarr Jr., 66, of Redondo Beach, Calif., passed away on Nov. 28, 2015 in his residence. He was born in Bethlehem on May 15, 1949, the son of Frances (Yeskiewich) of Hellertown and the late Delmar J. Sr. Delmar grew up in Hellertown and graduated from the Hellertown-Lower Saucon High School in 1967, from MIT in 1971, and finally from the University of Southern California, where he earned his Master’s degree. Delmar retired from Northrup-Grumman as an aerospace engineer. He traveled to many countries during his career, but most of all he enjoyed his time spent in London, England. He was an avid football fan, and enjoyed compiling Knarr family history and getting together with old friends on his visits back to Pennsylvania.

In addition to his mother; brothers: Robert C. of Ohio and David A. (Sue) of Hellertown; cousin: Betty Ann (Jeff) Gattone of Reading; companion: “the love of his life” Linda Babcock of Torrance, Calif. Delmar was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Nancy.
