Last night with a thumping of the Notre Dame Crusaders, the Saucon Valley Panthers finished the regular season 18-0 and earned themselves the top seed in the upcoming Colonial League tournament on Wednesday evening at Catasauqua High School. With two more wins Saucon Valley will accomplish what no other Panther program has ever achieved–FOUR CONSECUTIVE LEAGUE TITLES!
Four Notre Dame forfeits combined with two pins (Good and Polak) and three Tech Falls (Hill, Jones and Kehs) paved the way for Saucon to take 11 of the 14 matches and earn a 57-9 victory.

The final stop for Saucon’s “Tour for Four” will be Wednesday at Catasauqua. As the top seed, the Panthers will have a rematch with the Green Knights of Pen Argyl. Saucon defeated Pen Argyl 44-21 last week. With a victory, Saucon Valley will take on the winner between Northwestern Lehigh (7-1) and Northern Lehigh (7-1). The Tigers of Northwestern beat the Northern Lehigh Bulldogs 42-24 this past Wednesday night. Northwestern’s only league defeat was a 39-24 loss to Pen Argyl on Dec. 23.
