A 37-year-old Watchung, N.J., man is charged with drunken driving, driving with a suspended license and disregarding a traffic lane, after police say he drove the wrong way on the I-78 eastbound ramp to Rt. 412 in Hellertown early Friday.

A 37-year-old Watchung, N.J., man is charged with drunken driving, driving with a suspended license and disregarding a traffic lane, after police say he drove the wrong way on the I-78 eastbound ramp to Rt. 412 in Hellertown early Friday, according to an article published by Lehigh Valley Live that cites court records.

According to the article, Wali A. Williams, then drove south in the northbound lane of Rt. 412 before he was stopped, failed a field sobriety test and was taken for a blood test.

Williams was committed to Northampton County Prison before posting $8,000 bail on Friday, online court records indicated.
