Student Used Profanity, Obscene Gestures Toward School Staff, Police Say

A Saucon Valley High School student was cited for disorderly conduct and escorted off the school district property shortly after noon Thursday after he allegedly used profanity and directed obscene gestures toward school staff.

A Saucon Valley High School student was cited for disorderly conduct and escorted off school district property Thursday afternoon, after he allegedly used profanity and made obscene gestures toward school staff, Lower Saucon Township Police said Friday in a news release.

According to police, Tyler Abel-Kornberger, of the 900 block of Juniper Road, Hellertown, allegedly acted out because he arrived at school at 12:16 p.m. and “he was told he needed to show up to classes on time.”

“Abel-Kornberger has a history of truancy,” police said in the news release.
