Woman Stole Face Cream, Police Say

A 64-year-old Hellertown woman allegedly stole a bottle of facial cream from the Giant supermarket at 1880 Leithsville Road, Hellertown, March 1, Lower Saucon Township Police said in a news release Monday.

A 64-year-old Hellertown woman allegedly stole a container of facial cream from the Giant supermarket at 1880 Leithsville Road, Hellertown, March 1, Lower Saucon Township Police said in a news release Monday.

According to police Kazuko Kubota, of the 400 block of Linden Avenue, put the cream valued at $27.87 in her purse and walked out of the store without paying for it at 12:25 p.m.

Kubota is charged with second-degree misdemeanor retail theft because of a prior conviction for retail theft, police said.
