Driver Will Be Cited for Allegedly Speeding on Bingen Road, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police said a township woman will be cited for allegedly driving at an unsafe speed after she caused an accident at Bingen Road and Green Acres Drive Saturday.

Lower Saucon Township Police said a township woman will be cited for allegedly driving at an unsafe speed after she caused an accident at Bingen Road and Green Acres Drive Saturday.

In a news release, police said Amelia King, of the 1900 block of Barclay Court, was southbound on Bingen Road shortly after 12:30 p.m. when she lost control of her vehicle while negotiating the curve at Green Acres Drive.

Police said King suffered minor head and neck injuries in the accident.

The intersection has been the scene of at least one other recent accident, in November 2015.
