The intersection of Bingen Road and Green Acres Drive in Lower Saucon Township was the scene of an accident on Friday, Nov. 6, 2016, according to township police.

Lower Saucon Township Police said Monday that a township resident was cited for speeding after he allegedly caused an accident late Friday afternoon.

In a news release, police said Geet Sajnani, of the 2000 block of Glenview Drive, skidded through a bend in Bingen Road at Green Acres Drive and struck a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction just before 6 p.m.

Following the accident, both vehicles had to be towed from the scene, police said.

Police did not indicate whether there were any injuries as a result of the accident.
