A Bethlehem man who was stopped at Flint Hill and Waldheim roads for allegedly erratic driving April 16 was found in possession of suspected methamphetamine, Lower Saucon Township Police said in a news release Tuesday.
According to police, Scott Anthony Sousa, of the 2100 block of Princeton Avenue, was stopped shortly before 7 p.m. after he was “seen driving on the left side of the roadway, passing another vehicle across the double yellow line while traveling through an intersection.”
After being stopped, police said officers determined Sousa was under the influence of a controlled substance, and in addition to the suspected meth also found drug paraphernalia in his car.
Sousa is charged with DUI, driving on the left side of the roadway, possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
